Mrs. Michelle Seekings

Welcome! My name is Michelle Seekings, I am your student's 2nd grade teacher! I graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University in 2013 with my Bachelor's of Education. I am currently ESOL Endorsed and have my Reading and ESE Certifications. I spent the first two years of my career at a small charter school in Collier County, then moved closer to my hometown of Arcadia and spent the next 10 years teaching 2nd and 3rd grades in DeSoto County. I have lived in Punta Gorda for the past 8 years with my husband and our dog, Mr. Watkins. We welcomed our first child in the Fall of 2023, our daughter, Davey June. I am ecstatic to be a Sallie Jones Tiger and can not wait to watch your child grow socially, emotionally, and academically, as well as hone in on their leadership skills!
